抠不以耻

昨天nornor的karate老师看了一眼他从四岁穿到现在，已经漏着脚踝的裤子，委婉地说：
“I am going to the martial art store tomorow. Do you need something for nornor, like a gi?"
我说：“no. thanks. A frugal person like me thinks he can still wear the same gi for another year."
老师说：“I've seen really frugal people have their kids' pants to the knees."
我说：“well, he can wear the same gi for antoher 3 years then."
为什么，为什么，我不以抠为耻，还抠得如此理直气壮？！
